Few artist's passing have made me sadder than that of David Bowie. I've loved his music since I discovered him in the 1990s. When grunge was all the rage, I was listening to his tripped out electronic album Earthling thinking to myself, "This is so much more creative and interesting than Nirvana." That then caused me to remember him from Labyrinth. After I bought every album of his I could find, I found myself delighted with each album as they came out in subsequent years. Here's my stripped down version of Life On Mars? from his stellar pre-Ziggy album, Hunky Dory.
